About the event
An excellent one-day training for emergency first aid in the workplace, community, or home.
This is a one-day Level 3 course. The qualification covers the roles and responsibilities of the first aider and how to assess an incident; first aid skills in CPR and use of an AED; providing first aid to a casualty who is choking; and dealing with external bleeding and hypovolaemic shock.
This is a certificated course and the awarding body is Highfield. Book in advance.

It is essential to bring photo ID on the day - your passport, driving licence etc. There is a short multiple choice test at the end

This nationally accredited event is suitable for anyone intending or working in a designated work environment that would be considered low to medium risk (of accidents and injuries). Assessment is done through practical demonstrations (such as CPR) throughout the day and a theory based multiple choice question paper at end of the day. Both practical and theory elements need to be completed successfully on the day for certification.
