About the event
This safeguarding children course is designed to give everyone who works, or has contact with children, young people and/or their families an introduction to safeguarding children.
Participants will gain knowledge and awareness about: legislation and guidance; the recognition of child abuse; how to respond to concerns; who to contact when there is a concern; fulfilling ‘duty of care’; safe practice and keeping children safe.
There is a short multiple choice test at the end.
The cost is £10 (incl. £1.55 booking fee) for unwaged and £54.88 (incl. £4.88 booking fee) for waged.
