The New Cross Gate Trust has been renamed and rebranded and will now be known as Besson Street Trust.

The new name is synonymous with the charity and creates a connection with the place where so many of our activities take place. It was developed after discussion with users of the Trust.

New branding, created by local designer Laura Purdy, reflects the Besson Street garden, is more recognisable and represents our organisation's supportive and nurturing outlook and purpose. New images for the website and social media were shot by local photographer Jeremy Hilder

“The Besson Street garden is a well-loved focal point for our community and the new name and branding reflect this,” said Jo Walker, co-chair of Besson Street Trust.

Besson Street Trust works with local people to develop resilience, increase self-confidence and improve wellbeing. We achieve this by delivering opportunities for lifelong learning, encouraging healthy lifestyles, building social networks and enhancing the environment.

“I encourage you to visit the new website, check out the services and activities we offer, visit the Community Garden, and get involved.  You will get a warm welcome, that’s a promise,” said Wendy Braithwaite, co-chair of Besson Street Trust.

The New Cross Gate Trust name will no longer be used and all communications and branding changing in the coming weeks.
